Hug Line on Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco

In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA, my Spectrum Life Design family and other transformational groups decided to organize a Hug Line. This is based on the one they did on the Great Wall of China in Beijing in 2004.

Since so many friends have asked me how it went, here are some photos to share the moment.

The hardest part by far – getting up at 4 a.m. for a Hug Line beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning (the time dedicated solely to sleeping in normally)! But it was totally worth it to see my friends some of whom drove all the way from LA just to be there. You can see from the difficulty I had opening my eyes that it was getting awake so early.

The best part? Opening up to strangers and giving them a hug while we celebrated humanity and the awesome achievements of each builder, engineers, and influential person who contributed to building the Golden Gate Bridge.

While I would love to take credit for shooting these beautiful photos, all of the credit goes to my friend A and his wonderful skills. Thanks! You really took some great photos 🙂
